Alien Face: The Veil of Light - Portal

The Veil of Light

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

As if a secret veil surrounding a forgotten portal suddenly tears open, and a blinding light bursts through from the other side of a new system, standing directly before us. The light is unfamiliar, almost alive, revealing a passage into something that exists beyond everything we have known. It does not explain where it leads or what waits beyond the threshold. It simply opens, illuminating the darkness behind us and offering a way forward into the unknown.

And then the question becomes unavoidable: if the world behind you had already fallen into darkness, and this mysterious portal suddenly opened before you, would you run toward the light—or would you stand frozen, wondering what is waiting for you on the other side? RUN, it will only open for once...
